Johnson C. Smith University track is one of the best in our area. With exceptional, motivating views of Uptown, just stepping onto its blue surface gives you a sense of speed. Home to the University's track team, this oval also hosts many youth events throughout the year. This Olympic-size track is open to the public from 8 a.m. to dusk unless prior reservations have been made. Easy parking adjacent to the facility makes for easy access, located at 100 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC.

Alexander Graham Middle School is another excellent option for Charlotte locals. This track, located between Myers Park and Barclay Downs, is a stone from grocery stores and restaurants for a pick-me-up after a challenging workout. Irwin Belk Track and Field located at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a great stop for those living in the university area. One of the few 8-lane tracks in our area, this facility boasts plenty of space to support heavy training or easy miles on your down week. JM Alexander Middle School If you live in the Huntersville area, JM Alexander Middle School has a wonderful facility tucked in between the school and ball fields. Easy access parking makes this track super convenient and you'll often find youth programs and leisure athletes taking advantage of this space.

Sullivan Middle School located off Cherry Road in Rock Hill is available for those living closer to the SC line. The track isn't open to the public during school hours but it's still a great space for training. 1825 Eden Ter, Rock Hill, SC.
